Welcome to this website documenting many of the adventures to be had in Kodiak, AK.
When I arrived in Kodiak for the first time, I felt lost. There is so much opportunity to explore the great outdoors, but I didn’t know where to start! There weren’t many good sources of information about my favorite hobbies and how to do them in Kodiak. Luckily, or probably more unluckily, I wound up (and currently am) significantly injured and had to stop all adventuring for a long time. To put my time to good use and provide a resource for others, I created this website. It is for those new to Kodiak to help you jump start the next chapter of adventure in your life and for those who live here and want to see beautiful pictures of their wonderful home or be inspired to get after it! Please share this so more people can find out great ways to appreciate the beauty this island has to offer. Get outside!
