The Exceptional Nature:

Kodiak is home to many types of nature experiences that are rare to find elsewhere in the world. The upcoming Places to Explore page here will show you great places around Kodiak to see the beautiful sites and experience the exceptional nature. Below are some of the rare nature-based experiences you can have here in Kodiak.

The Wildlife:

Much of the Island of Kodiak is protected by the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge. The island and refuge is known as the Kodiak Archipelago. This area is very diverse, with different types of forests, rivers, dramatic mountains, beautiful beaches, and lots of amazing wildlife. This section of My Kodiak Adventures will focus on brief introductions about my favorite types of wildlife to see on the island and where you can find them!
